I'm an Oklahomie living in Los Angeles with my wife and two daughters. When I'm not writing barz or arranging music I'm making coffee reading and riding my bike or making things.

Music

My music is heavily informed by the big B's: Black Baptist church, Bebop and Boom Bap. As the son of a jazz drummer turned pastor I absorbed a lot from Miles Davis and Mahalia Jackson simultaneously. Hip-hop was the language of my youth and gave me the framework to sample those influences freely.
