Classical Revolution has been bringing classical music to the people since 2006. Headed by Charith Premawardhana, Classical Revolution was birthed at Revolution Cafe in San Francisco, holding performances weekly at the Cafe as well as non-traditional venues such as bookstores, cafes, and arthouses. Classical Revolution has had 38 chapters across North America and Europe, including London, Paris, and Berlin.

On the second half of the program you'll experience Spruce Ritual, a musical exploration of two great traditions: eastern Hindustani music and western classical music. Through sublime melodies and intricate compositions, they take the listener on a heartfelt musical journey.

Led by composer, violinist, and vocalist Lucian Kano Balmer, Spruce Ritual released their debut album to great acclaim in February of 2023. "Spruce Ritual: The Way The Evening Speaks is a wonderfully original, musically masterful and evocative album.
