Pianist ↺ Educator ↺ Consultant in Artistic Performance

Shirley studied at Vanier College and earned a double D.E.C. in Human Science and classical piano interpretation. Then, between 2009 and 2013, Shirley completed her studies in physiology and piano performance at McGill University.

In 2012, Shirley worked for Steinway Piano (Montreal), where she had the opportunity to represent the wedding gift of Steinway Russian pianist Vladimir Horowitz, the famous Steinway D # 503 series. In 2014, Shirley launched the company Opus One Music to promote the social function of classical music. She produced numerous chamber music concerts with her musician friends at different locations across the world, including senior residences, luxury residences, local cafe shops and even public pianos during summertime. In addition, Shirley became a member of Ladies Musical Club of Seattle, where she deepenened her knowledge and understanding of the link between Western Music and Western culture

Music

I like to play chamber music with violinists, singers, cellists, or other instrumentalists.
Solo repertoire includes Schubert, Chopin, Ravel, Satie, Debussy, Beethoven, etc.
Chamber repertoire includes Debussy's quatre chansons de jeunesses, Ravel's cinq mélodies populaires grecques etc..
