Presented at solo recital series at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall by Artist International, Inc.
Ms. Cizmecioglu began her musical journey in Istanbul at the age of 5, inspired by her grandfather, a traditional Turkish Saz player.
As a recording artist, Ms Cizmecioglu took part in 2014 Grammy Award Winning recording with Albany Symphony Orchestra,awarded for best classical instrumental solo recording of composer John Corigliano's "Conjurer — Concerto For Percussionist & String Orchestra," released on Naxos- 2014.Live broadcasts and Shows at NBC’s Saturday Night Live with Kanye West and US East Coast tour with Peter Gabriel, Frank Sinatra Jr., and Johnny Mathis.
opportunity to serve as concert-mistress under renowned conductors such as Kurt Masur and Leonard Slatkin, and collaborate with musicians such as Itzhak Perlman, Sharon Isbin, and Yo-Yo Ma.
