About

Catherine Grimball began her musical journey in her hometown of Pensacola, Florida. She continued her studies at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan, where she earned her high school diploma in piano performance. Catherine obtained her bachelor’s (cum laude) and master’s degrees in piano performance from the University of Cincinnati Colege-Conservatory of Music. An avid collaborator, Catherine worked as music director for the Pensacola Opera Artists in Residence program. Catherine attended the 2022 Cliburn Amateur Competition as a Festival Participant and participated in the 2024 PianoTexas Academy and Festival. Catherine is an active performer and chamber musician.

Catherine enjoys sharing music by female composers, contemporary music, and bringing new life to well-known classical pieces.
